The Peacock has said that The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant star Kaley Cuoco will lead the cast of Based on a True Story. A dark comedy thriller from Emmy-nominated writer and executive producer Craig Rosenberg (The Boys, Lost, Preacher).

The series tells the story of “a realtor, a plumber. And a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide. Exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder, and the slow closing toilet seat.” The story has inspired by “a bizarre true event.”

Cuoco will play a married woman named Ava Bartlett, but we don’t know much about her yet.Even though Kaley Cuoco is being cast in the new show, Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO Max are undergoing many changes. Some say that The Flight Attendant’s third season is “likely.” In the fourth season of the DC animated series, Harley Quinn’s deal with Peacock lets both things happen.
